We are all leaders. Each of us has the ability to influence and lead the people surrounding us, regardless of our title. If you want to make a difference in the lives of those around you and develop your leadership capacity, join us for a course designed to give fundamental, practical leadership training. We’ll learn about Leadership Essentials over 4 months, 1 class per month, as cohorts of 30. We will use the cohort model to facilitate shared learning and in-depth conversations. Our class will contain interactive classroom instruction, as well as practical action steps to take between classes to practice what we learn.
The four unique classes will cover:
1. Leading through Strengths: Leading yourself is a big part of leadership development. We can’t truly lead others until we can lead ourselves well. In the first class, we will dig into how we can develop ourselves through our strengths. Then we can start to become a stronger team by developing the strengths of those around us.
2. Relationship Strategies: This session focuses on using ‘The Platinum Rule’- treat others the way you want to be treated. Specifically, it takes an in-depth look at how to be a better communicator by understanding your personality style, as well as others, in order to build lasting relationships critical to business and personal success.
3. Leadership Progression: Developing Influence to Unleash Potential: This session digs deeper into you as a leader, examining why someone should follow you. It includes a discussion on the core competencies and characteristics of effective leaders and how to utilize those to transition from a doer, to a delegator, to a leader of others.
4. Candid Conversations for Personal and Team Development: The Leadership Essentials course concludes with how to provide and receive candid feedback/feedforward on the path to creating powerful results.
