The Vincennes University Tractor Trailer Driver Training (TTDT) Program offers student-centered, hands-on quality training to prepare students for their CDL Class A or B license. At VU LTEC, our main priority is to ensure that students leave our training program as safe and knowledgeable drivers- that’s why our program is the preferred training program by many carriers in the industry!
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED (in progress)
- Valid Indiana Driver’s license and Social Security Number
- Be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident
- Successfully pass the DOT physical and drug screen

Course Description: The tractor-trailer driver training (TTDT) program is designed to prepare students to enter the tractor-trailer driver marketplace at an entry-level driving position. Training including classroom instruction, lab practice and on-the-road driving. Students can expect to pull loaded trailers under a variety of conditions, including two-lane roads, expressways, night driving, hilly terrain and driving city streets during heavy traffic.
Length: Up to six weeks (240 contact hours)
